this has to do with windows folder setup. open a folder, any1 will do, go to ''tools'' then ''folder options'' and then ''view'' and uncheck ''hide known file extentions''. now rename your file to whatever.pk3 and click yes to prompt.

i might be wrong about what box to uncheck, if i am write back and i'll figure it out.

The easiest way of doing this is to make a zip file and put it in the root of your mod folders are... if it were a skin it would be in with your 'models' folder? base/models/characters/... from memory.

Then drag all your folders with the skins in it, onto the zip file, and when the new dialog box comes up to save your zip file, make sure it is set to keep the folder structure, and rename the .zip file to .pk3. Save it.

You should know have a PK3 file with all the folders stored in it with the correct directory structure.

Sorry for the crap explaination, but I'm not very good at explaining stuff. If you still don't get it, do a search on Google or something for "making pk3's"... you will find some info on making PK3's for Quake 3 - same principle.
