when i make like die tutorial from Modsonline the rotation brush,
(make square, put the origin brush trough it, select both. r. mouse.b.;func_rotation. keys and values; dmg-100, 1000=death, speed-100=default, axis can be x,y, but z is deafault so i don't put a axis in it, and i don't use strat off.)
when i look in the game, i see the brush rotate, only it's going around in a very large circel, you see it coming by every other few seconds.
so, i have to give it a point where it is turning around. but how??
did you put the origin brush exactly in the middle? cuz if i remember correctly (i did this aaaaaaaages ago :S) the brush circles around the origin brush
yep, i remeber a lot of MohaaRadiant, i did put the rorigin exactly in the middle, but it doesn't use that point for rotation around it, so; how do i make that the middlepoint?
hmm it worked for me!
i found out that the brush rotates around the origin brush, so it has to be in the middle, the size does not matter of the origin brush...
when the origin brush is decentered, your brush will make circles,
chek my .map the one with the oring brush outside the brush doesn't 'work' the way you want it to work :)
it's now to late, i will look tomorrow, but what you said about that the origin brush should not come out of the rotation brush, that that should work. than that is the problem, it did come out on to sides of the rotation brush. (but that's what they show in the tutorial from Modsonline).
