GAMETYPE SPAWNS.

"The gametype_player entity is used by gametypes that require separate spawn points for the Red and Blue Teams. It requires that you set a "spawnflags" key to specify which team the start is for. "spawnflags" "1" designates a Red Team player start. "spawnflags" "2" designates a Blue Team player start. gametype_player also requires a "gametype" key. This key designates what gametypes the spawn will be used for. For instance, "gametype" "elim ctf inf" would be used for those three gametypes. In the stock Raven maps, each team typically has 16 starts for each gametype, for a total of 32 players. (It should also be noted that you can have a situation like mp_shop (The Shop Under Siege). In The Shop Under Siege, the 16 "spawnflags" "1" gametype_player entities have "gametype" "inf elim", which means the Red Team starts in the same place in Infiltration and Elimination. However, there are 32 "spawnflags" "2" gametype_player entities. 16 are "gametype" "inf", and 16 are "gametype" "elim". This means that the Blue Team starts in one place for Infiltration, and another place for Elimination.) Gametypes whose .gametype files specify "interval" or "none" spawning will use these start points. I will refer to this as a "Gametype Spawn" point. For most gametypes using these spawns, you'll want to place the Red Team together in one location, and the Blue Team together in a separate location. Specific spawn information will be given in the gametype entity\trigger profiles on the Gametypes List."

GAMETYPE TEAMS.

"The next item of business is Teams. Any gametype that uses teams (Team Deathmatch, Infiltration, etc...) will need to know which teams to use for your map. For instance, mp_col1 (Colombian Jungle) uses the Colombian Rebels for the Red Team, and the Marines for the Blue Team, while mp_shop (The Shop Under Siege) uses The Shop for the Red Team, and Prometheus for the Blue Team. To define what teams will be used in your map, you'll need to add some keys to your map's "worldspawn" entity. While in Radiant, press "N" to bring up the entity editor. At the bottom of the entity list should be "worldspawn". With "worldspawn" selected, add the following key\value pairs: (To add a key\value pair, put the first term in the "key:" field and the next term in the "value:" field and press Enter to apply the change.) "redteam" "teamname" "blueteam" "teamname" Replace "teamname" with the name of the team you wish to have represent which color. The stock Raven teamnames are: civilian - A bunch of regular guys in regular clothes, used as the defending team on Raven Offices colombian - The Colombian Rebels, used as the defending team in Colombian Jungle finca - Manuel Vergara and his men, used as the defending team on Finca Housewarming hospital - A collection of doctors and patients, used as the Red Team on Hospital Roof marine - The Marines, used as the assaulting team on Finca Housewarming prometheus - The terrorist soldiers used as the assaulting team on The Shop Under Siege shop - The "Men In Black" (including Mullins) used as the defending team on The Shop Under Siege snow - The snow troopers, like those found in the RMG "snow" levels thug - The thugs from Hong Kong, including Alexi Nachrade (While you're in the worldspawn entity, you should go ahead and add in a "message" key with the value being the longname of your map. For instance, the worldspawn entity of mp_shop has this key\value pair: "message" "The Shop Under Siege".) As an example, the Raven Offices worldspawn entity looks like this: { "classname" "worldspawn" "message" "Raven Offices" "redteam" "civilian" "blueteam" "prometheus" "music" "music/dm_raven" } "

I Dont Understand these things...

Can you explain me this on an EASY way???

1: { "classname" "worldspawn" "message" "Raven Offices" "redteam" "civilian" "blueteam" "prometheus" "music" "music/dm_raven" }

These are the Key and Value fields that are an example for a worldspawn. When you create a brush, it is set as default a worldspawn entity. To edit the entity settings, press "end". It shoudl already have the Classname in Key and Worldspawn in Value. The others you must do on your own. Enter Redteam for Key and "Whatever team" for Value. Do the same for blueteam. A List of teams you already have. Music is not required but if you wish to add music, browse through you musicandsounds.pk3 file and type the path and file name to assign it. Type Music in Key and "whatever path and file name" in value. A example is given.

2: To assign gametypes, right click in grid area and go down to gametype then under gametype should be an items called gametype_player. Add as many of these as you wish. Each one represents one spawn point. Press "end" to bring up entity settings. Select redteam or blueteam by click on the button or chek box in the settings window. SpawnFlags 1 or SpawnFlags 2 will appear in your settings. 1 is red and 2 is blue. Now to assign which gametypes you wish to use for this spawnpoint, in the key field type "gametypes" and in the value field type "what ever gametype". You must use the shortnames which are DM TDM ELIM CTF INF DEM. Those are the standard gametypes. For example: Key || Gametypes Value || CTF INF This will make this spawn point for gametypes Capture the Flag and Infiltration. Make about 16 for each team to assure noone spawns on top of any one. Do the same for both red and blue teams. This comcludes the spawn topic.

I think this should help you out. Good luck!
