hmmmmmzzzz i think ill have an other one geheheh :beer: :beer: or 2 but how can i make holes in meshes i asked in the new weapon mode what do u think post but no-1 repies i want to make holes in a mesh

Holes? Uhhhh... Create verticies where the opening of the hole would be, and dupe them to the other side of the mesh... then delete all the surrounding faces, and recreate them to the new verticies... or, if you had max, just use boolean :P

im trying to keep it to the same poly count as the sof2 models (i think this one has a little more)

disadvantages to having a weapon model with a few thousand polys = 1) sof2 cant handle it or 2) real hard to skin

EDIT: hay im trying out a few other models for an mp5/m3a1 replacement...i might remake this model so its easier to skin and im working on a beretta 12 as well, check the attachment

hey Fragger and Superfly and all the other skinners what programs do you use to make the weapons? Where can i find them? i got the Milkshape 3D 1.7.0 no idea how to use let alone start making guns from it can someone make a tutorial plzzzzzzz yes yes i know im a newbie at this. its jus that people arent makin the stuff I want so i decided i was gonna try and learn to do it and its :notworking:
