I only get red and blue squares. No textures at all. Any idea what it is? I have the textures0, textures1234, and models files in the base folder of sof2sdk. If there is anything else I need to do to get them to show up please tell me. I am trying to find the tree models and the textures used in the tunnels on col 1 and 2. Someone told me that they use sdk and I could find them there since I can't find them in gtkradiant.

Another thing, When I right click in the camera window to move it around it only goes in circles real fast. When I release the button it stops.

It doesn't work on my laptop either which had sof2 installed only a couple weeks ago and hasn't been used that much. I wonder if it has something to do with crappy windows xp....

quote from modsonline.com =

Extract the textures supplied with the game by opening the textures0.pk3 using winzip. The pk3 file can be found in the C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix\base folder. Be sure that when you unzip it, you use folder names and that winzip is in classic mode. Choosing Actions > Extract... this will bring up the window pictured here. Enter the path to your base directory. My path would be : C:\SoF2SDK\base Check the box to "use folder names" Click the extract button

7. Extract the shaders that are used by the textures the same as you did the textures above. The shaders are located in the therest.pk3. This will create a large number of folders in your base folder which is normal. Also you should extract the models located in the models.pk3.

shaders man, shaders.

follow the instructions and it will work fine.

and the camera thing..you can use arrow keys , and . and many other. dont use mouse, it will blow up.

i hope this helped you..

How dare you say SOFSDK sucks! LOL I'm kidding... anyways... Mine works completely fine.. i cant help you with the texture problems, this could only have happened from incorrect installation.

BUT... for the keys: I didn't know exactly what key everything did .. but i explored and discovered ALL THE KEYS... you CANNOT use the right mouse button on the view window... cuz it WILL spin like crazy and sometimes you may never see it again. So you use YOUR DIRECTIONAL ARROWS! VERY EASY!. COME ON GUYS!

a and z tilt the camera up and down d and c move the camera up and down direction arrows well.... they move the camera.... very simple.

To move the graphical MAP.... use your right mouse button when you have it clicked and over the map... not the preview window... then just move it around..

right-click on graph map will move it around. insert and delete will zoom in and out.

THERE YA GO!

Hope this helped! :deal:  <<{BLS}>> QuickSilver blsquicksilver@msn.com
