Ok, does anyone know if it is physically possible to make a weapon model without using 3dstudioMax?? currently im using milkshape, but came across the obvious exporting problem, anyway to get it into a glm files? and what other things do i need to add into the .glm other than model itself (skinned)? final question, does GMax have the ability to export to glm?

i dont think it is because you need to export it to XSI from either 3DSM (using ravens plugin) or from softimage XSI , i have tried exporting from milkshape to .mdl them from mdl to glm but you lose all bone structure.. so not too good

Yeah, export those bad boys to xsi when you have all the individual animations done, then compile them. Ive never used milkshape, so I cant really help anymore.
