Im hoping to make my own custom sniper scope and other tyhings but the scopes top on my list. I downloaded one from a site and un paked it to see if i could costomize it and repak it but that didnt work so im reaching out to u all .... IF one of u kind souls could give me a webpoage or a program links any rthing to give me a place to learn to make custom sniper scopes and thing such i would be so much help to me thx [email]Tipinonxtc@hotmail.com[/email]:confused: :confused:

Pff, it has been awhile since i made something for SOF1. But (i do this by head) in SOF1 you have to work with TGA files (graphical format). And to get a custom scope to work you will have to work with alpha channels...

You can correct me if i am wrong :p

yo man as i said befor about the take and look then reconstruct... ive done it i couldnt make it work however i will try with the tga files thx man .... im also sry but i dont know what the alpha channels are

You have to save it in the pk in the same folder that it was in the one you got the file from.

***To SirPaul*** I see your eyes are startin to deteriate like mine...lol

well what i did was unpaked the .pak file and modified the images to my liking with a m32 viewer and other tools (adobe photo shop 6.0 final) then saved them with the same name as they were in the original .pak file, then i used winpak to make a new .pak file with my moded files and put it in the same folder as the downloaded one went into, but it didnt work so yea....

Make sure the name of the new PAK file becomes alpabetically last... when files (in this case the sniperscope) are more than once in the PAK files SOF1 will use the one that is read last.
