I have had a couple of ideas with regards to modifying some of the weapons on my server. (when it is back up and running, that is.) I have no idea how to implement them or even if any of them are possible. Could someone tell me please:-

1. Is it possible to exchange the smoke grenades in mp for the white phosphorous grenades from sp? (nasty stuff I know, but let's face it....the-nastier-the-better :) ) 2. Some time ago I stumbled upon a server on which the bullets "rebounded". (it took me a while to work out what was happening:) and the admin explained it was a mod.) At the time I thought this was a bit daft but then I wondered if it would be possible to have bullets ricochet if they hit a solid surface at less than an angle of, say, 20 degrees or whatever. I thought it may be better if only a certain percentage of bullets did this. This seems more plausible to me. Does anyone know of a mod like this or of any other way to acheive this effect? 3. I asked this question in another forum but to no real avail. (wrong forum probably). I have noticed that fragmentation grenades have a "percussive" effect upon a player upon detonation and the player's health diminishes but not his armour. Would it be possible to incorporate a proper fragmentation effect into this by adding a 360 degree shotgun blast to the explosion (with plenty of pellets) or something similar to simulate flying fragments? Or might this be too "resource intensive" to be practical even if it is possible? The idea intrigues me but I have not the foggiest idea where to start. Can anybody help? Feedback on any of the above questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.....

Thanks for the response kingkobra. I suppose the armour damage may be an option if all else fails but I want to see if I can incorporate this effect for four main reasons:- 1. Eye-candy. 2. I want to introduce an element of luck into the damage caused by nades. ie, you may get hit by shrapnel, or, you may not depending on how close you are to the blast. 3. And fourthly,- 4. I want the nades to present a realistic danger to the user of the nades. ie, throw and take cover or suffer the consequences.:)
