Have you looked at RTCW?
It has emplaced weapons in MP and it has the same coding as SOF2 in terms of gameplay.
I can use all the commands i do in SOF2 and it works...
it's not the same... coding is very much different, if they had the same coding it would be the same game, only the engine they are based on is the same, and emplaced weapons wasn't coded into mp either... just like rotating doors, but it can be made available in a mod, like the rotating doors were in mandown
Arn't rotating doors just func_rotate?
I used a rotating fan in my first sof2 map, and I got a tutorial on it from a quake3 mapping site. This was september last year.
no that's not the same, func_rotating keeps rotating and is not specially for doors, cuz in other games like sp, when you open a door, it swings open, instead of sliding
So what maps have these doors in? How can you insert them?
no mp maps have it, but for example the first sp level has it

Any Firearm or weapon mounted to a object.
Say a .50 Caliber mounted to a Humvee that is manned by a rider.
you can make emplaced weaps in sof2 mp you need to know the engine layout and c++ programming and you got it
