I cannot install SOF2 becuase every time I run Setup, I'm given an error message saying:
------------ DEMOSHIELD RUNTIME PLAYER
DemoShield Runtime Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. ----------------------------------
.....and I click "don't send", and I get all annoyed.
What is wrong?!?!?! I bought the game - it's NOT a pirate version!
Damn crap! (sorry...)
HELP!!!!!
Could be a corrupt file, Have you tried manally installing it w/o the autorun? To do that, you go into the directory, go into the setup folder, and click on the setup.exe (do not click on the one in the main dir.). If it gives you the same error, Email Activision or Ravensoft, and if they cant solve your problem, send it back, for an exchange.
Thanks!

i dont know what demoshield is but it seems to be your problem, try uninstalling that app first, then reboot your machine and try installing sof2 again.
It sounds like some anti virus rubbish, probably linked to Dr Watson what a heap of junk that is !!!
Like said above remove Demonshield first if you can ?
Good luck :p
I think I'm on the right track thatnks to you guys. But...
..."DEMOSHIELD",came ON the actual original SOF CD_1 and CD_2. So, when I explore the CD it has it right there. Weird...?
How can i un_install DEMOSHIELD?! It's not on my harddrive...only on the Install CDs
Thanks!

on your cd there'S a setup file, wich you can run without letting autorun start the install process. Pop the cd in drive, click cancel to exit setup, go to ''add new program'' in control panel and install from there selecting the said setup file and you should be on your way
