Last night I was playing SOF2, everything is running GREAT, but then, the game suddenly crashed for no good reason I can think of. Now when I click on the button to obtain a list of servers. (ya' know on the start up screen where you can edit game settings, and join or create a server, its the first button on the left with the arrow pointing to a computer), any way, when I click on that button , the game locks up. I can hit CRTL ESC and use taskmanager and it tells me it is not responding. This seems strange, I really don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling the game. Help, Please.

If you do not see any entries in the server list, do the following: 1) Verify that you are connected to the Internet. 2) Choose Internet for the source in the game. 3) Click Get New List (left corner most icon).
If you are still unable to retrieve a list, ensure that you have no firewalls active, and that you have a direct connection to the Internet. This would include disconnecting any routers/hubs or hardware proxies.Further, due to the variable nature of DSL/Cable connections, it is exceedingly difficult to offer generalized information. In these situations ensure the following: 1) The TCP/IP protocol is only bound to the NIC which the internet connection relies on. 2) The IPX/SPX-compatible, NetBEUI and NetBIOS protocols are not bound to the NIC which the internet connection relies on. 3) You are not using Internet Connect Sharing (ICS), NAT, IP Masquerading, or any other technique for sharing one IP address with multiple computers. Hope it helps.
