when i start a server the game tells me "invalid cdkey" so i go to options reenter my cdkey and press verify ,no the game tells me "valid cdkey" so i start the server again and what does the game tell me "invalid cdkey" that happens with every server .What happened. HELP ME:(
i had this problem and i went out and bought a new game and installed it and the problem was gone.
so you are better of taking the game back and exchanging it.
Or try this...go to your base/mp folder, there you will see a file called sof2key, delete it and try entering your key again

I was never given a cdkey with my game and no other game i exchanged it for works. i looked on activision.com but it was no helo. could someone help me retrieve mine or give me theirs to try.
Your cd key is inside your cd case when you buy a legitimate copy of the game. If it wasn't there then you have a pirated copy or someone opened the package and took it. I suggest you return to where you got it and get a replacement and this time, check the inside back cover for the cd key. Or find an honest shop that will sell you a legitimate copy of the game.
