I'm too cool to Post
28th December 2002
I need help.
My family got a new Dell for Christmas.
Pentium 4 2.0 ghz 60GB Hard Drive 256MB RAM And what I'm proud of, a 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420.
My school computer has a terrible video card/ motherboard combo, that barely makes SoF2 playable. I get a great ping from the T1 connection, but I usually get around 30 FPS. I decided to install SoF2 in the new computer. After downloading the patches to upgrade, and the PB patch, I was ready to try it out.
To my amazement, I was getting 90 FPS.
THE PROBLEM IS...The game keeps freezing on me. I do not know what to do, but I think the issue is video-card related. I would really appreicate some help from admins or players concerning this card.
And I will say right now, I am sorry if this topic has been posted before, and please do not flame a gamer in distress. All I want is for my game to look very nice, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Hope to see you all online.

Check the internet for the latest drivers, shop built PC's could of been put together a while ago, also try changeing the options for the grafix in game, start off low, and change them to better quality bit by bit to find out when it locks up, if you have turned everything up full that may be your problem, as the saying goes " suck it and see"
Have fun and welcome to SOF land
