im trying to make a server for sof2 version 1.00 ( i kno its old but i still like it) but i cant get my server to show up on the internet list. im using sof2runner and the rpm mod. both work fine but only in a lan server. When i tell sof2runner to make it an internet server it wont show up on the internet list. i kno that im suppossed to see it under local for me and i do but wen i ask my friends if they can find it, they tell me no. so i kno that i can only get a lan server right now. im almost sure it has something to do with my router. im using a d-link DI-604 model. ive tried changing the DMZ setting for my computer but that didnt work and now im experimenting with the virtual server settings but im not sure if im doin it right. can anyone tell me how to set up a server through this router or at least give me the url of a site that explains how. some help would be great. thanx

Since you're using the same router as iam i think i could help you with this type in following ip in your webbrowser 192.168.0.1 that will take you to the routers webbased setup. The user name is admin and the password should be blank if you have not choose any password before.Next step goto Advanced in there you add 20100 as service port and don't forget to type your internal ip in the server section. The 20100 is what sof2 uses by default you can change it to what ever you want just make sure that the server is configured to use the same port as you forwarded.. Note that im using the european version of the dlink di-604 router so yours might be different from mine. But in basic it should be almost the same good luck
