Man, I hope someone can answer this...It's driving me nuts.
Long story short....I accumulated a bunch of downloaded files (maps, mods, etc.) and just recently deleted all of that crap so more people would join my server, "_SLAPPSHOT_" Some people don't turn auto download off, and they just disconnect rather than come back in.
I wanted to fix this, so my friend and I could have bigger groups in my game. Once I did this, my maps ended up like the last guys thread (about the black and white lines), so i reinstalled the game to fix that ordeal.
Now, I don't know what I used to have, or not have, but I know for a fact my mp5 used to be able to split a hair on a gnats ass from 50 yards away, and it held 60 rounds before having to reload.
I don't know if this was normal, or if it was something I acquired through downloads, but now my mp5 only holds 30 rounds before reloading, and only 90 leftover. On top of that, it sprays bullets everywhere, and from that same 50 yards away, it makes a huge cluster of holes o the wall instead of a small tight cluster of holes.
Wasn't my orignal discription of 60 rounds and controlled how it should be? I thought the mp5 sacrificed power for accuracy, and that I liked. Now the players I used to pump full of lead end up killing me quicker than I can type, "this sucks."
Sorry for the book.........PLEASE HELP ME!
Come on, I know someone has the answer to this problem. Please?
You are now back to the original setups, you must of had a mod from somewhere, there are a few on sof2files.com you will have to try them out.
Thanks for the reply, Sir Paul. I was starting to get worried for a sec. That's the answer I was afraid of, because I'm so used to playing with 60 rounds/ clip on the mp5. Are you, or anyone else here aware of which mod I might have been describing, off the top of your head?
There are several weapon mods hosted on our site, which one it was i have no idea m8 sorry :( i dont use or have tried any out !!
Try this link Weapon Mods
Speaking of mods.........
I guess I don't really understand the whole deal. I have a few files in my base folder, such as a real damage mod, some zzzzz mod, etc, etc. These don't show up in the options menu while in game when I click on the "available mods" button. The only one that comes up in the list is "osp".
So, i guess my question is....how do I know if this real damage mod is running, or how do I switch to it if I did want to use one of them.
oky the osp mod is a game mod this u can select, the real damage mod works all the time, as soon as you load up sof2 it starts working, to disable that real damage mod you will need to delete it from the folder..
Aha! That's what wasn't making sense. Thanks a lot man.
