Hi, I have just played SOF2. I've got this game for free when I bought my Audigy 2 Platinum. I have a really annoying problems with this game. The problem is that the control is messed up (mostly with the weapons related key), although I have changed it in configuration, but it still doesn't work. I don't really like to change control configuration so, I usually left them as default. However, it only works for a while, the next time I play the game, I can't change the weapon by rolling my mouse wheel, I can't also do an Alt+fire with my right mouse button. It seems like my younger brother play the single player mode with cheats, is this have something to do with my messed up controls? By the way, this problems only shows up in Single Player mode in multiplayer mode it's still plays like magic. My system configuration is: Windows XP Pro Full Version with Plus! and service packs 1 AMD Athlon 1000 DDR RAM 769 120 Gigs HD Maya with ATI Radeon 9000 Pro II, 128 MB Video Card Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum And I use Creative speakers 6.1, I love that center rear speaker, especially when I play online games.
Was it in a two pack? Ive never heard of a two pack involving SOF2. Have you tried reinstalling?
You mean Audigy 2 Platinum?? It's a soundcard, and it gives us Hitman 2 and SOF2 as bonus. I've tried to un-install and re-install the game, but it still keeps the old settings. Is there anyway to remove it all compeletely?

base/mp ull find 2 .cfg files.. 1 called sof2.cfg and the other sof2mp.cfg <--- u know what that refers to... open sof2.cfg with notepad and do all the binding from there. make sure u save the file b4 u close it.
Well, unbinding it using notepad seems to be unsuccessful...... The binding in that cfg file is allright. No problem at all, however, the control during the gameplay is still messed up..... I don't know what to do anymore....
The binding changes are made to the Sof2mp.cfg file...
Back this file up, save it away from your game folder, then delete it, start up a new MP game and change the keys to your choice, this will then be saved in a new Sof2mp.cfg file..
Good Luck ;)
That's works like magic. I can play the game with no problems now. Thank you!!
