Well, I took a break from SoF2 for a month or so. Before I did it, all was OK. When I came back, I noticed that the sound in my game is delayed, I mean, if I move the mouse over an option in the menu, the bip will be played only few 3 seconds after. The same in shooting and any other sound in the game. I remembered that I updated the pb and downloaded few skins, so I deleted them and reinstalled the game, but it didn't help. I also remember that I installed directx 9, maybe that's the problem? This problem really annoys me, especially now when my clan is in the finals of a league... So plz, help me :) .

installing directx 9 isnt recommended if your hardware doest support it (ie ati radeon 8500 and lower) Dont install it unless a game requires it.

I also suffer with delay in the sounds,I also installed DirectX 9, because I have games which required it,so I would say it is the problem, I agree with last message, dont install unless you have too.

I had this problem. Here's the solution: 1.Find your DxDiag.exe program (search for it if you don't know where it is) 2.Run DxDiag.exe and go to the "sound" tab. 3.Look for a little sliding bar that say sound acceleration (it will most likely be at full, this may be due to one of the other games u play on your pc), what you want to do is set it to either the 2 or third slider(i believe they are normal and high, respectivly). 4.close down DxDiag.exe, it will ask you to save your changes, do so and save the file to somewhere you will remember it.

That should solve your problem, hope this helps.:D
