where is the autoexec.cfg file i cant seem to find it so i was wondering if some kind person could tell me where it was ty for your help
If you havent made one, then you dont have one :) If you want to make it I think that it should go in your sof2/base folder.
ok ty but how do i make it just new folder and name it that??? the if i want to add exec demo.cfg wut do i do then ???? ty again
heres why i wut i want to do >>>>First install the demo script supplied by placing the cfg file in the sof2/base/mp folder, then adding "exec demo.cfg" to the end of your autoexec.cfg file, change the key binding in the demo.cfg file to suit (default: ??).
Now when you are in-game and want to begin recording press the key bound to the demo script to start, and then when you are finished once again to stop. The demo will now be in your base/demos folder. You should now rename this from its default name to something else so it does not get overwritten the next time you record a demo.
Ok, ok :) In your sof 2 /base folder, create a new file called autoexec.cfg - make sure that you make a .cfg file and not something like autoexec.cfg.txt .
Then just add the line exec demo.cfg to the file. It will be the only line in the file. If you cant be bothered to make the autoexec.cfg file, just type into the consle exec demo.cfg before you want to use the demo recording script :)
he dave sorry to bother u again but u seem like u know wut your doing so im going to ask u 1 more question do u just type exec demo.cfg in to that file or do u have to put some thing in it??? like another file??? ty again
Ok here's he file, just place it in your Base/Mp and make sure the demo script is in the base folder.
