Every now and then I encounter players online who somehow glitch and appear 2D at times, often twitching from side to side etc. Is this some kind of evidence that their cheating?
It's more likely your graphics card...Update your drivers, and install the latest DirectX. That could solve it. If not, post back with anything else that may help us - to help you :)
record a demo . and send it in so we can see it

Sounds more like big packetloss to me...
yeah i was thinking the packet loss also ..or just latency ....but then people who automatically think "is this a cheater? " i would rather them get used to recording a demo and asking than coming in and giving a situation ..lol
What's a demo? I think my video card is alright and up to date and it's a very rare occurance....
A demo is a recording of the game.
How do I record a game?
I think i know what hes talking about, and no i dont think its anything to do with cheating.
It happens when the person makes a sharp sudden movement in the opposite direction,
For example, they are strafing right, and very sharply turn and strafe left, if you catch my drift.
I think its just the games, weird huh?
If it's not cheating, and it's not affecting your game that much (as you say it's very rare). There probably isn't much point in recording a demo, as it's probably something up with your graphics card - or packetloss (whatever GODh said).
If it's really bugging you that much, try a re-install.
And TheSaint - I know what your talking about, but I don't think people go 2D - as JOMOP describes it - when they do that?
