Before i go on this will only work if the server/s you play on are unpure sv_pure 0

Ok find the musicandsound.pk3 in your sof2 base folder open it with winzip. Extract the contents to your desktop. Once extracted delete the music folder as you dont need that then go to the sound folder and open sound > player > bullet_impacts > armor. In there is 2 wav files, The default sounds of when a bullet hits your armor in game. Now find get your custom sound/s and rename them to match the orginals, Put them in the armor folder and overwrite when promted. Delete all the folders you dont need so all you have left is...

sound > player > bullet_impacts > armor

select the sound folder and send to compressed zipped folder. Now you have the sound.zip file all you need to do is change it to a pk3. Download the attachment to this post, Take the zip2pk3.bat file out of the .zip and put it in exactly the same place as your sound.zip. Double click the zip2pk3 tool and your sound.zip will become a valid .pk3, sound.pk3. Rename that to custom_sound_mod or whatever and put it in the sof2/base/mp folder. Now go play the game and get shot.

Hope that helps :)

Ha! That zip2pk3 thing is hilarious, but I guess I can see why it's needed. (Users who have extensions hidden, I'm guessing?)
