Where is the lighting? - In UT, just for example, when you took a screenshot, it would flash the screen so you could actually see the pic. In SoF2 - it's always dark, and turning up the brightness does not help. I want to be able to -see- the screenshots I take, grrr.

No one has any ideas? I just played a game using the RMG - in the 'day' setting, and every screenshot I took (around 50+) came out looking like I was playing in the dark!

Well if you want your screen shots to look a little brighter, open them in a graphics program and turn thebrightness up. That works like a charm.

I don't have any graphic programs - I ran out of my 90-days on Paint Shop Pro (which actually lasted me 2 or 3 years cuz I kept turning the time back.) - but I got tired of having the date on the year 2000 just so I could run it, cuz that affected other things. Why isn't there a patch being made that includes the gamma settings into the screenshots?

I still don't get it though cuz I've never heard anyone complaining about the darkness of their screenshots.

You wanna post (attach) one to this forum that you think is really dark? Maybe your monitor is really dark, I have one of those at work, it's really annoying but the brightness is all maxed up

btw just install paint shop pro 7 :)

A lot of people on the Raven forums have commented about this same problem. They said the same thing, use a program to brighten them. But I don't wanna waste my time brightening up picture after picture - they put the screenshot button in there, it should work... grrr

Here's a sample - it's in a RMG, and it is on the day-time setting.

my screen shots come out a little dark too. But I only take pics of images that i really want and thats just a few. Thats no problem to brighten them. And what do you need so many screen shots for?

I have the screenshot key remapped to the middle mouse button (Mouse3) - so I can take nice clean pics after I take a shot with a sniper rifle or, whatever.
