Hi all, I've played SOF2 on the net for a long time but we've decided to get a small league going with my workmates after work. This may have an obvious answer but how come when I create a game on the net, none of my workmates can see it in their lobby, even after refreshing / get new game list? Am I missing something obvious? They set their games to see deathmatch only also so there is no real filter applied. Is it not like most games where you can just create a game and people can join? Thanks and apologies in advance if this is a stoooopid question! :uhoh: Mevlin

you'll see a button on the create server menu in options called dedicated. Make that dedicate to the internet.

I tried that but then SOF exits out and creates a dedicated server. But then I can't play! :) Surely there is a way to just create a game and then have all your mates join in? Thanks for the quick response though! Mevlin

yes .....just start another game after the dedicated box comes up .... then bring down the console and type in PB_CDKeyver, so the servers and punkbuster know you are not only running a server, but playing in it also.

Also, if you are behind a router/firewall, make sure you open the ports for your server, because they will stop you dead. Merrick will elaborate if you have any questions about it. Or you can read your manuals/read-me's. :)
