Hi Guys I've started playing SOF2 with friends (read LAN party). But I prefer playing on maps that don't force you into a specific direction (I don't mind having a base but I don't like having to approach an enemy base from one of two directions. I really don't like playing 'indoor' maps where you bump into a guy and only notice him when you turn around the corner. I dont' mind a few houses or structures on a map but not catacombs. So can anyone recommend some nice maps where you don't have to to walk between narrow mountains and where the map is outside? Regards CE AUKE

RMG!!!

try some randomly generated maps, they can be pretty cool sometimes. also, make sure you download marko's UBER mappack and Valley of Kings, they are the best outside maps available i think.

Try helmsdeep pretty open, and fun. RMG is probably your best choice. Getting a map that doesnt force you on where to go is hard there is always going to be a limit on where you can go and what way.
