I hope someone can help me...

Is there a console command to change player config?

3 People use my PC and it's really annoying having to change the key setting everytime I want to play. I remember that quake 1 used to do it by having multiple .cfg files and then typing 'exec file.cfg' in the console.

I might be able to hepl you out. I shall be back to my home within 2 days.........i will look over my scripts an see if its possible to bind a key to activate your personal key configs. This shouldn't be hard to write,an also if all goes well it will allow you to bind a key to activate your custom key configuration, your name, your skin,an maybe even your outfit(guns, nades, etc.)

Ok doOd an whoever else. This is what to do. If you have one or more people that play your sof2 game an each person has his or her own custom key settings an you want to be able to change your player config to ur settings an not have to change them everytime.

You config for mp should be labled as sof2mp.cfg

1st: I would set your key settings to how you want them. Then save it as like sof2mp1.cfg

After you have saved it,copy it then paste it to ur dekstop. Then go ahead an do the same thing for the other people that play an save them as like sof2mp2.cfg/sof2mp3.cfg

2nd: once you have made these custom key settings an saved them to ur desktop, cut an paste them into the base folder which is where the sof2mp.cfg was in the 1st place.

3rd: Now bring down console in the game an type in the following:

bind 1 "exec sof2mp.cfg" bind 2 "exec sof2mp1.cfg" bind 3 "exec sof2mp2.cfg" bind 4 "exec sof2mp3.cfg"

Now that the custom config's that you made have been binded to keys you should be able to hit that key an execute your custom config. Also the binded key can be any key in your keyboard as long as that key is not being used in the config itself.

I haven't tried this out,so if anyone has questions or suggestions plz feel free to comment. An if it works plz let me know :p :p
