[SC] Clan has been active in SOF2 since almost the release of the game. We constantly try to innovate and bring newness to SOF2. Our clan runs a different map cycle every month, with up to 30+ maps/gametypes and many things which are exclusive to our server. Here are a few things which are exclusive to [SC] and are currently running at the moment: NEW EXCLUSIVE GAMETYPES(only found on our server): Gun Game(GUNS): [COLOR=red]NEW FEATURED GAMETYPE FOR MARCH/APRIL 2012 [/COLOR]The object of the game is for each individual player to make at least one kill per different gun. As you make a kill with one gun type, you are given the next gun type. The one who cycles up and makes a kill with every weapon is the winner. Teams: None. Individual scoring. Individual Scoring: Individuals earn 1 points for killing other players. These points count in the overall awards table at the end of the game. Timelimit: Usually 30 minutes. Maps: Core. Other: None. - There are 12 different guntypes in the game that you must make 1 kill with. - When you die, you move backwards 1 weapon. Team Freeze Tag(TFT): The object of the game is for one team to "freeze" all of the opposing team. The gametype is a combination of Elimination and Team Death match as far as gameplay and earning points. You "freeze" players by killing them, and you "unfreeze" your team mates by stabbing them with your knife or via AK stab. If you are frozen and not rescued, you will remain frozen for 20 seconds, and you will "unfreeze" in the same location. Teams: Red vs. Blue. Team Scoring: First team to reach 350 points wins. You earn points by "freezing" opposing players (1 point per 5 seconds per player frozen), "unfreezing" team mates and when your team "freezes" all of the players on the opposing team. Individual Scoring: Individuals earn points for "freezing" opposing players. Timelimit: Usually 30 minutes. Maps: Random. Other: None. - You will notice frozen players as they will be frozen in red or blue ice. SABOTAGE(SAB): The object of the game is for one team to take the bomb (the case) and crouch and plant it at the opposing teams bomb site (marked with the opposing teams colored flag). Once the bomb is planted, defend it until it blows. If a bomb is planted at your teams bomb site, you try to defuse it (again, by crouching next to it). The bomb is always in play until one team blows up the opposing teams bomsite, or the round time limit expires (a draw). Players respawn after being killed. Teams: Red vs. Blue. Team Scoring: First team to reach 5 wins. A team gets 1 point for blowing up the opposing bomb site. Individual Scoring: Individuals earn points for killing opposing players, blowing up the bomb site, defusing bombs or killing a player carrying the bomb. Timelimit: Usually 30 minutes. Maps: Random. Other: None. - You will hear a noise when someone is planting the bomb, and a countdown timer when the bomb has been planted. DOMINATION(DOM): The object of the game is for each team to control all of the flags on the map. This means crouching next to them and turning them to your teams color. Usually maps have 3 flag points, while some big maps have 5. There are no round limits, and the round doesn't stop when your team controls all of the flags. This is continious gameplay until one team reaches the team point total. Players will see a message saying that another team is attempting to change, or has changed, a flag to their teams color. The flags are fixed. They cannot be moved. Teams: Red vs. Blue. Team Scoring: First team to reach 350 points wins. Your team earns points by killing opposing players, changing a flag to your teams color or extra team points when your team begins to control flag positions. Points increase as your team controls more positions. Individual Scoring: Individuals earn points for killing opposing players and controlling (capturing) flags. Timelimit: 30 minutes. Maps: Random. Other: None. - Your armor bar is used as an indicator when you are capturing a flag to your teams color. KILL STREAK WEAPONS REWARD SYSTEM: As your kill-streak grows, you can unlock the following extra weapons: Kills - Reward: 5 - RPG 7 - MM1 9 - Full Health / Armor 11 - AirStrike [COLOR=red](unique to the [SC]Clanserver)[/COLOR] 13 - Full Ammo PLAYER MAP VOTING SYSTEM(only found on our server): Whether you want to play a classic SOF2 gametype, or something new and fresh, our server offers a unique mix of both old time favorites and [COLOR=red]unique[/COLOR] new ones in a +30 map cycle that offers something for everyone. Our server is set-up to run 13 "core" maps/gametypes which are the most popular classic maps in both CTF, INF and DM gametypes. The "core" also includes at least two new gametypes or maps that we highlight for a 30 to 60 day period. We also run 17-plus "random" maps/gametypes which include our [COLOR=red]unique gametypes[/COLOR], custom maps and some of the other older gametypes such as ELI and TDM. These can also change every 30 to 60 days. Players in the [SC] server have access to a [COLOR=red]unique[/COLOR] voting system in which map/gametype they wish to play next. The server will propose to either play a "core" or "random" map, and the players vote which to play next. This means our mapcycle is always changing and reflects what the players wish to play. Our new mapcycle is up and running, and here is the new cycle and what's new for the cycle end march through end April 2012: Here is the new core mapcycle. mp_hk1 - CTF mp_shop - CTF mp_hos1 - DM mp_finca - INF mp_kam2 - CTF mp_raven - CTF mp_pra1 - GG* mp_shop - INF mp_finca - CTF mp_hk1 - INF mp_shop - GG* shop4 - CTF mp_col1 - CTF mp_raven - INF * Denotes a new gametype exclusive to the [SC]Clanserver. We have also added 2 new maps to the random list. Kam4 CTF and Kam5 Elim. The random maps available for voting are: mp_pra1 - DOM mp_shop - DOM mp_finca - TFT mp_pra1 - TFT mp_raven - SAB kam5 - ELIM mp_hk1 - DM mp_pra1 - CTF mp_hos1 - CTF air3 - CTF kam2 - CTF (this is not the regular KAM2 map played by most servers). hk4 - CTF liner1 - CTF finca1 - CTF col7 - CTF kam4 - CTF We are running 30+ maps for this new cycle. This includes the "core" maps, or all time favorite maps and gametypes along with 2 maps dedicated to our new gametype GUNS. We have another 17 maps named random, which include both other classic gametypes such as Team Death match and Elimination as well as other exclusive gametypes such as Team Freeze Tag, Sabotage and Domination. We have also initiated a unique map voting system for the players in our server. At the end of each map, players can choose to play a "core" map or a "random" map, allowing players to have the most flexible and popular choices of what to play in our server.
