SDK Help PLEASE!!! Will somebody please explain to me how you can use SDK to edit ship hardpoints for things like changing torp loads and such. I am brand new to this, and have no clue. I know I can get into the py files with excel, but I am obviously not saving them in the correct format because when I try to play the altered ship in QuickBattle mode it crashes. My main purpose for wanting to be able to do this is to be able to use weapons mods that I have downloaded off BCFiles, and import them into ships for QuickMode purposes. Help please.

You can edit HP's in the Model Property Editor or in Notepad.

Which you use is up to you.

If you use notepad, make sure you save the file with the .py extension.

Don't use excel, the py files are not in hex format.

Where is the model property editor? I can't find it any of BC directories. :(

you need to download the SDk1.1 and in there under tools you will see modelpropertyeditor.exe
