Here's the thing. My sof2 keeps freezing every 1-5 minutes for 10 secs.It is impossible to play and i have tryed every possible solution available. I upgraded and downgraded my videocard drivers (Inno3d Geforce Mx 440 - still crap put sof works) Tryed the via 4in1\hyperion drivers. Formated my harddrive. Disabled fastwrites in bios. Change my AGP aperture to 64. Changed my AGP driveing mode to 2X. Entered pb_sleep 500 into console. Entered pb_system 1 into console. Reinstalled my LAN drivers. Reinstalled SOF2. Tryed the Windows 98\ME compatible mode. Upgraded my BIOS. Upgraded and downgraded my sound drivers. And so on ... ( thats all i could think off righ now) So if you got an idea how to fix it ( non of the above worked for me) then go ahead and tell.

What does it do when freezing ?

Do you get any error messages top left hand corner ??

You say its a PB issue, is it trying to update your PB files ??

Before it crashes i always get the line that it is trying to update PB.(i also tryed manual PB update for several times and doesn't work) Here's the error message: Punkbuster Client : Receiving from PB Server (w v1.102 | A1336 C1.129) When is it frozen state the screen locks up for 10 seconds and nothing happens. The error doesn't occur on servers what are running no or older versions of punkbuster.

Right i get this problem now and again, it hangs my game and some times quits to desktop.

2 Things i do that sorts it out..

Load up a listern server just you in game (not Internet) download updates from PB that way..

Another way is use the pbweb.exe that works as well

Tryed the PBweb several times before i came to theese boards so that doesn't work (tryed it again) One interesting thing when i made my own PB server in internet or lan it didn't freeze not one bit. I am beginning to think that this might be something related to osp and pb??
