Hey, you know those John Mullins thingys, somekinda story's in mp3 files? ( the latest: http://soldieroffortune2.filefront.com/file/John_Mullins_Taylors_Funeral;42911 ) Well, I really want to make movies outta them, but lets face it.... i really suck to make something like that... Im just a soundmodder, not a modeler, scriptthingy guy, etc... So if anyone could help me...? please? :bawl: cause ive bein thinking to make these things out of the cutscenes of the game, then edit it and add sounds... but then the story would not match the movie... So if anyone knows on how to learn modeling very very very easy... btw, if anyone need soundediting or something, contact me, and i'll try to help you! ;)

there is no easy way to learn modeling. it'll take loads of time and loads of practising i think. can't you call some clanmates or something and direct them ingame? it'll be a lot easier and quicker :)

Ive beem doing some modelling but as banana says its no easy task.

What type of modelling where you thinking just making new maps and manipulating sof2 or the full blown recreate every character needed skin them amerature, then create scenes camera layout etc using one of the known modelling packages, like Blender, maya etc.

I also have been thinking of creating my own short movie based on sof2, but I'm still in the testing area for certain things. I'm using blender check it out www.blender3d.com completely free fully usable 3d package capable of millions of things.

:)

Eitherway you choose in going to be hard to do.

if you really want to script your movie, like the cutscenes in sof2 singleplayer, it will take at least 3 times as long. first of all, sp mapping is way harder than mp mapping, with all the extra triggers and commands you can use, and secondly, the only people who have succesfully created cutscenes are the developers themselves :/

Sp scripting is really hard you need to know the inner knowledge of how it all works.

Best be is a graphical package. Heres links to all the important places to get you off your feet using blender.

Download it the main package : www.blender3d.com/cms/Blender.31.0.html Video tutorials to help you start out : www.blender3d.com/cms/Video_Tutorials.396.0.html Main forums where you can get help : www.elysiun.com

Any other graphical package I have no knowledge on.
