I made a number of changes to most of the AIPs, getting the AI to fight with some degree of difficulty, but recently noticed a problem. In a 4 vs 4 AI battle, when one team begins to attack the other, it splits the fleet into 3 groups each against the other teams instead of sending all its units to one enemy base, barely making a dent against the enemy's defenses. Where did I go wrong?

It's difficult to say without seeing your personality files, but I suspect that the "min_matching_force_ratio" is set too low or the AI wouldn't try launching an attack it couldn't win. Another way of fudging it is to set the "min_attack_force" to a number sufficiently large that the AI doesn't attempt to launch very small attacks.
