Its been 9 months(should of been only 4 lol) since I start my project. Skirmish is fine, its the balance and single player aspects that I need help with. The point was to not make it as canon as possible but, to make something thats a little more realistic than what this community started out with.

Features: Galaxy is buildable in skirmish and the Omega missions and has a buildbutton(AI can build them too). Ferengi, Breen and Sona ships all have build buttons. A 2nd version of three stock Armada maps. Dominion Shipyard builds all alien ships now(minus Species 9341). Made Hero special weapons more independant from buildable counterparts(last alittle longer, does a bit more damage, use less special energy, ect...). All combat ships have more standard weapons at their disposal(ie Fed scout now has 1 phaser and 1 pulse phaser/no new hardpoints at all/Heros have +1 of each weapon of their counterparts). All phasers(minus the ones on scouts) are multi-target(min:2 max:3). Shield heath, shield recharge rate(of all ships and stations) and weapons base damage(of all conventional weapons minus tri-cobalt) changed to counter the above. General ship stats have been changed(crew, cost, build time, size, ect...). Cardassian ships have proper class names and are both scaled to a more proper size of a cruiser. Artillery and cruiser variants made from each races cruiser2(cruise2 is cruiser version and cruise3 is artillery/art variant larger than cruiser/added crusie3 to race stations map editor build lists). Scouts and destroyers are buildable at starbases aswell(scouts buildable no-matter what). Cruisers are also buildable at yard2. Science ships buildable now at yard1 too. Modified and new techtree files. Modified stock AIPs so the AI builds double of stock Armada(except research stations and pods). Techtree specific AIPs created for each tech level(supersid AIPs are the only problem here). Created a second label and techlvl file so you can use them all. Made some adjustments to ART_CFG and RTS_CFG files.

The only requirement to help test this for me is that your Armada be patched to 1.2. Ofcourse I will be testing the campaign aswell but ofcourse noone has the same exact computer hardware setup as me. Although im not expecting any errors but thats half the reason why im doing this. I need to make sure it is ready for the community. Below is the zip file, grab it, post any feedback and questions about it in here. Thanks.

No problems for me with the Federation campaign. I will test the Klingon missions tonite and post how that went tomorrow

Alright, the Klingon campaign went flawlessly. Although I realised that some of the mission tt files where missing a cruise3 entry for the races involved. Im not sure what AIPs are used for missions but hopefully will have that sorted. Will have a go at the Rommies tonite and post the results the next time im logged in.

1)I just found that removing the 1, 2, 3, ect...files from the textures folder makes the textures a lot less fuzzy(will do same for A2). 2)All cruise2's now move like the cruise1's and all cruise3's move like construction ships. 3)Missing cruise3 entrys from some mission tt and AIP files complete.

Actually..the 1,2 and 3 files are meant to be there to speed up the game...when you zoom farther out..the game will switch to the lower resolution textures..to keep the game from slowing down..

Most modern systems(no older than 3 yrs) should be fine without them. My g-card isn't close to awesome and I've seen no difference than with the files inplace... Anyways, i've successfully completed the campaign and once I go through a full skirmish with each of the diff AIPs I will upload. I will also be uploading different texture sets aswell throughout the next two months aswell.

Well, the tri-cobalt thing isn't working out which means that this thing is done. Once I get enough in-game shots together I will submit it sometime next week.

Yeah, I really wanted this to work cause of the artillery only techtree but, look at it this way......atleast players will be busy telling 10 fleets of artillery what to target. Also it will be five totally new maps instead of two(with possibly one being a void type map).
