Select your picture and resize it to 768x512. Then add guides in. This allows you to select down to the pixel the area you want.

View -> New guide -> 256px in both horizontal and vertical and 512px in vertical.

This allows you to select a square precisely 256x which allows you to copy exactly the size square required for each of the loading 1-6 images.

I got a loading screen for my game now, How to I make my screen appear? Do I have too edit the sprites?

Just copy and paste your created loading1.tga, loading2.tga ect into the texture directory and overwrite the existing ones (make sure you back them up first!)

All this to change something so simple... Still, I got a couple of images that would look promising on the loadup screen, i'll give it a shot. Thanks to all that posted.

there is a loading sod i knew how to alter the image but didnt realise there was a sod so i guess thats how art of war has animation
