Well I've done some revising of armada 2.5 and here is what there will be... Races: Federation Klingons Romulans Borg Cardassians Resources: Dilithium Duranium (metal renamed) Requisition (replaces latinum and can't be mined... must be traded for) Officers (around 500 max maybe 1000 as all officer costs will be what I feel is closer to canon... lower people...) Crew Upgrades: Almost all ships and stations will have some sort of upgrade system, at the moment I have this complete for the Excelsior class, it goes as follows...... Excelsior Class--->Excelsior Refit--->Excelsior B Upgrades will allow me to get rid of a shipyard or two as most of the Fed ships are refits of another existing one...

Stations such as the Fed Outpost will have more weapons or stronger weapons, increased hull and shield strength and possilby other benefits as well when upgraded. Well that is all for now, if you want to know anything else let me know...

I like the idea, but I don't really like that excelsior refit you're using. A bit bland. Other than that, brilliant :)

Galaxy Class-->Galaxy Refit-->Galaxy X... And I am preparing to implement the same progression for the Sovereign class as soon as I finish an odf for the refit (Nemesis Sov) don't worry it wont have 16 phaser arrays or 10 torpedo launchers. Many of the models in use may be changed, I plan on using Capt Fingers Exceslsiors or maybe SSA's excelsior pack. Thanks Greathor.

Very interesting. I am guessing your using the fusion weapon for the upgrades? That how I would do it.

Are all the races going to have the upgarde system?

Yup, fusion weapon, it works perfect because you can add resource costs to it. And yes all the races will have their own upgrade system, just not as diverse as the Federations, unless I can find lots of similar models, Galor may upgrade to Keldon, but a Hideki may just upgrade to Hideki Refit... Here is the planned Federation upgrade system Outpost--->Defense Outpost (weapon/shield upgrades, more construction options too maybe) Mining Station--->Armed Mining Station (resources process faster too) Orbital Station--->Improved Orbital Station (mines faster and has more armor, maybe weapons) Phaser Turret--->Defense Turret--->Heavy Weapons Platform Shipyards will have defense upgrades and maybe weapon upgrades too (looking like there 2 shipyards, yard from nemesis and Mckinley station) Midas Array--->Enhanced Midas Array (Sensor improvements, detect cloak, shield upgrades) Starbase--->Enhanced Starbase (heavier/more weapons, shield improvements) Construction Ship--->Adv Construction Ship (weapon/shiled upgrades, builds 2nd tier staions if there are any...) Freighter--->Heavy Freighter (carries more resources) Cargo Ship--->Heavy Cargo Ship (helps gain requisition faster) Repair Ship--->Fast Repair Ship (repairs faster, and maybe speed/weapons/hull/shield upgrade) Raven Class--->Sparrow Class (can attack planets maybe, faster and adds weapons) Defiant Class--->Defiant Refit (weapon upgrades, cloak, armor uprgades) Proxima Class--->Insignia Class (more weapons, higher crew amount, better shields, mass transport) Galaxy Class--->Galaxy Refit--->Galaxy X (weapon/shield increases for both, cloak for Galaxy X) Prometheus Class--->Poseidon Class (weapon/shield/speed upgrade) Sovereign Class--->Sovereign Refit--->Sovereign X (weapon/shield/speed upgrade) Nebula Class--->Nebula Weapons Pod Varient (weapons/shield/sensor upgrade) Titan Class--->Titan Refit (weapon/shield upgrade) Intrepid Class--->Intrepid X (sensor/speed upgrades) Akira Class--->Akira Refit (weapon upgrades) Steamrunner Class---> Steamrunner Refit (more torps) Nova Class--->Rhode Island Class (weapon/sensor upgrade) Pulsar Class--->Luna Class (haven't decided if I want to make my Pulsar upgrade to a Luna or not)

Fighters/shuttles will not be upgradable but here they are... Type 6 Shutlle Type 9 Shuttle Type 11 Shuttle Danube class Runabout Peregrine Fighter Blaze Assault Fighter Antares Attack Ship Delta Flyer Aeroshuttle/Waverider/Argo Shuttle (if I can find model(s)) Because the upgrade system will be in place there will be very few "special" weapons, no Chain Reaction Pulsars, no Engine Disabiling, no Fusion Cubes, no Death Chants, etc... I may have missed a ship or two... or if you want to see a ship post about it. Please remember that this mod is supposed to be in the year 2386 so I would prefer not to see requests for Constitution class ships... And here are the planned Fed weapons... 2386? So will the Remans and Breen appear in the mod? Maybe as map units if nothing else.

No Remans, aside from the fact that they may be used on the Romulan assault ship as a "special" weapon, sorry no Scimitar either, and the Breen and Dominion ships that are canon will be replacing noncanon ships for the Cardassians, the only non-canon ship the Cardies will have will be the Hutet... Map units will be a mix of other sci-fi shows, Battlestar Galactica and both Stargate shows, mainly though DS's Tau'ri ships if he lets me use them in the mod.

EDIT: Does anyone have the non-stock Milkshape importer and is willing to share? I will have to do quite a bit of texture editing, and CV does not display most models and their hardpoints correctly, which I need full use of.

Sounds interesting. Not a major fan of the Remans actually, but I am of the Breen. ;)

Well the Breen will at least have a ship, unlike the Remans... I've also decided to remove the Luna class for now because the only model that I know of is 9500 polys... that is not counting the fact there is a fully detailed Luna Class WIP at scifimeshes which you might know about Majest ;)

EDIT: Could someone tell me how to change the resource names...
