Indeed, KA2 was a little late (few hours) but had unforseen issues, as i'm sure your away. It is no coincidence that Hollywood films, book publishers and even fellow game makers in the industry never ever declare a set in stone release date until its almost assured. While said title is usually in production, the release date is something like "Coming Autumn 2006" or something of the ilk. Since we modders are even more sensitive to real life issues, since theres usually only one or two of us working on a project and we do it in our spare time rather than as a profession, maybe it is time modders started making less specific deadlines for themselves.
I agree Squire, I thought I'd have the Imperium race done long ago in my mod, but I still haven't finished them lol. Just running out of time to do them with exams. So, exact deadlines are rubbish. Don't do 'em [= Give teasers ;)
A short sentence by me here:
It's done when It's done, they do it for free, non-commercial, its free art, no pay and other...., real life at first! Also respect the modder and there art, asking is ok but no forcing or attacking. have fun and peace  :cya:

Here here! They will get it done. It won't be "on time" but then again who has the authority to decide whats on time around here. They are at least trying and from the sound of thing working themselves to death in the process. That should be enough.
the team made a new video http://fgx.strategyplanet.gamespy.com/flam/download.php?view.12
Downloading it now, it's great to have an update from them.
Just finished watching it, the mod looks great and much further along than in the last vid. The Dominion fleet scene at around 3:25 is very impressive. Hopefully this vid is indicitive of a release soon.
yeah die vid is nice but doesnt show half of what i tested in the 0.94 version.
