That looks totally realistic. I may have to find my old fleet in storage and do some painting later.
I didn't make it!
Ragnar, I haven't looked in here for a while. I am stunned at how beautiful the ship in those pics looks. Jaw droppingly beautiful. With such a stalwart and true Son of Terra turning out weapons such as these, the wretched Xenos and filthy minions of Chaos will have no chance of ever defeating the Emperor's Navy. If the denizens of the Warp ever see these, they will flee in terror back to whatever foul lair they have crept from. But it will be too late. You have done your duty well for the Emperor and Humanity. I salute you. ;)
Really cool ships. Can't wait to try them out against the Borg.
Thanks :D Lol if you want to try them against the Borg, you'll have to do that yourself ;) GW Policy restricts me to a Total Conversion, as putting it with Trek is 'downgrading' to their corporate image apparently
Ok an update. After taking some time out for end of school parties and sleep, I've decided to start work again. I still haven't finished texturing that Retribution battleship, though its closer to completion now. All that is left to do is the massive weapon holds on the wings, and the wings themselves plus the shielding on the sides and the prow. I would post pictures, but I want to wait. Might get a video of it ingame eventually. On another note, I've realised how much time texturing actually takes, and I would prefer if Momijisu would come back (though recent attempts to contact him have went unanswered) because he has pre-made models, but basically, I'm looking for a modding 'team' - one or two people to help make Warhammer 40,000 style ships for Battlefleet Gothic. A modeller for stations mainly, and a 'jack of all trades' who can do most things, basic and possibly complex (i.e. GUI's, ODF's, maybe a bit of texturing, etc). I'll be posting this in the news section, hopefully it will go up soon :) PM me or post a reply here if you're interested This is the news item
Hello there. Its been a while since Battlefleet Gothic has had an update, a lot of you probably thought it was dead. Alas, it is not, the Immortal Emperor forbids me from giving up on this holy project. Pretty much a summary of what has been done since the last update...nothing. I haven't had the time to work on it, though now the summer holidays are here again I hope to continue this and release something. I've been learning the in's and out's of texturing, and I've got the hang of it now so ships and stations will look more real instead of a boring metal texture. Also, I'm looking for one or two people who could help me on this project. Jobs that I would like: - A modeller for stations of the Imperium and Chaos, and the ships of Chaos (you could use my pre-existing Chaos cruiser hull as a base to work on the other cruisers), otherwise, you have free reign over your creations as long as they ARE canon. Plus, your work should be of a decent quality, and they should look as close to their canon counterparts as possible. Not asking much at all there.... - A 'Jack Of All Trades' who can do GUI's, ODF's and other little bits and pieces. This role could maybe be split amongst two people. Of course I would supply you with necessary materials such as PDF format rules for ships and weapons (also they're free on the Games Workshop site, if you know where to find them). If you want to apply or inquire, post a reply in this forum Battlefleet Gothic Ships or PM me through that. I would post my email address but the scoundrels of the 'Net would steal it lol. Thanks, Ragnar
Plus, could an admin or moderator rename this forum to Battlefleet Gothic TC Mod please?
