Right, I imported the FO3 fed heavy yard, removed the model but kept the hp structure, then merged it with my new model and re possisioned the hp's (I didnt remove any though). I renamed the mesh nodes. I exported as a A2 sod and installed it. Problem is that the game doesnt like the Sod and neither does the storm tool. I have done the same thing to use my new ships and it worked fine so what have I done wrong?

I just tried importing the FO station, then exporting it again with no changes and it causes the game to crash. Any ideas???

You are doing this in Milkshape right? FO uses Max. THere are things you can do in max That the MS3D exporter won't export.

Yes im using ms3d, but im removing the imported model and replacing it with my own, so the mesh shouldnt matter.

You were probably having trouble with command nodes, max will use them fine but milkshape won't

Does it go to the default sod? That cube with the red spider on it? Or does it simply crash. I build all my models with Milkshape, and I have found out when you have emiiter or mesh disparities it crashes. Check your emitters, make sure that your mesh name matches the m_ tag in your joint skeleton, and make sure you dont leave any rotating joint add ons.
