As you proberbly know Blink is the video format which the movies are writen in with in armada II however i have tried to write my own and have had some success i can turn AVI's into the BLink format however i lose the audio on the game becuase of a format problemhas anyone found a way round this fairly annoying problem if so how were you able to do it ???????
    Any help would be apreaicated
I've had a little experiance with this, I attempted to swap the A2 intro, with the DS9: Dominion Wars intro a while back but it didn't work out! All I know is how to convert them! sorry...
Right, i use this and it happened the first few times. First of all take the avi and play it in media player to make sure the sound is there. Then open up bink and smacker, select the file and 'Bink it'. When teh screen pops up look at the bottom (move the screen up) and it should say 'compress audio' check the box, enter the file name and bink it. when the status menu pops up press preview it should have sound. Hope this helps
BINK video files for armada have to be of a certain size (video size that is). This is even more true with the game menus
I have the correct sizes and when i play the file through the blink player it works perfectly however upon replacing the games intro movie all the sound dissapears. I have do some research it has something to do with the version i blive any other idears and how to fix it ????
