Can anyone convert this quantum torpedo texture for star trek armada 2? 28236_1.jpg It would become more realistic for the game. Sonic14:deal:

Try using "The Gimp"

Its a very usefull tool, and its free. A Photoshop demo will do wonders, I recommend an older version, such as Adobe Photoshop 5.0. That way you can still have access to the newer demos later. :D Under the guise of comparitive version testing.

I'll see what I can do with it.

Well, here you go. Anybody can use it, I don't mind.

Glad to see that you got it to work. I've just downloaded to check out your handy work.

Have you posted it on Armada2files.com?

Just curious, which did you use, Photoshop? or The GIMP? I'm sure it was The GIMP. :D

Its faster than asking someone else to convert it, otherwise I would have offered, I do it all the time myself.

I used my personal favorite... MGI Photosuite for Windows 95.

I didn't animate the torpedo though. Actually, this particular torpedo would have been best applied to a spherical sod, but I don't have a spare sphere on me right now nor did have I then. I could animate it and apply it to a sod later perhaps?

I actually didn't notice the sphereical effects with the old torpedoes. Well if you get a chance try to do it. Thanks Sonic14:bows:
