Okay kiddies. Story time with the Major. Not so long ago an old time Armada 1 modeller recreated several of his low poly meshes into amazing high poly meshes for usage with Bridge Commander and Star Fleet Command. Of these meshes one, a Jem Hadar Destroyer caught my attention and I took it upon myself to download this masterpiece, but saddness alert!!! The mesh proved to be almost 7600 polys. Aghast I set about the heavy task of remaking this mesh (no easy feat considering the original creators background), but in the end I was successful. So without further to do, I present my latest (and possibly best to date) work:

CREDIT goes to 9 of Nine for the original Bridge Commander mesh and accompanying textures which were carefully reapplied to my own rebuild.

Poly count of this baby is a more subtle 1184, and it uses 3 high res (512*512) texture maps.

Aprox. 10 hours complete time, including almost two houwrs to check the model to make sure there weren't any hidden faces.

cds. I have always used milkshape 3d for my modelling and texture applying. I use Paint Shop Pro for texture manipulation, but because I use the A1 sod exporter and unless you use MS3d to export the model A1 models do not support alpha channels in the texture files correctly.
