I created a constitution class, a bit confusing was that there are two versions of that ship. I havent known it before. const0.jpg I decided to create the second one coz i like it more.

Here is a screenshot of my const class, now tell me if those things i marked there are normally closed or open? Because I saw different pictures (sometimes opened sometimes closed) const1.jpg

Then there is the texture problem, my first question is, wich color the body should have. I thought in the TV series the ship was white but perhaps it looks better if I make the textures a bit grey? and are there structures for a metal look or s.th. needed?

const2.jpg

Dont be afraid willsk8forfood ill finish the ship for tSoT too^^

They actually look quite nice, however there isn't that much of a difference and I doubt it would be noticed in-game (the difference of the bridges and rear necelles). - Other than them and the pointy thing coming out of the front of the necelle, there is no difference. However, the model you've done looks supurb, even though it does look slightly high in polly count for what she is. I'd also make them things at the top-end of the necelle not so "obvious". They seem a little "attention grabbing"... Maybe a little smaller and closer to the actual necelle?

The connie is white with a slight grey tint, something like RGB 245,245,245.

The deflector dish is bronze and the tip of the warp drives is several different colors, as seen here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Enterprise_orig.jpg

Why dont you try mapaynes tutorial, that has basic connie guidelines in it, you could get the color from there

The two ships are actually the same, just the bottom is a refitted version of the top, If iam right the top one is a Pike era ship while the other one with upgrades/changes is a kirk era ship

I made these things at the top-end of the nacelle smaller, now it looks better :)

the poly count is between 2 and 3 k... It is high but I think it isnt too high.

Thanks. For my point of view it looks like these things at the nacelles are closed, so ill do that too.

I worked a bit on my constitution class. I have now a few body textures and the most borg textures done.

Those things are closed until they go to warp at which point they open, I think. That's some pretty nice you've got there. Better than I could do(even if I learned to program/mod I'm not quite what you'd call an artist :(). But that current version looks a bit assimilated to me though....?

The only thing u need for better models is experience. So do a few models and they will be better and better :)

Yes that version has borg textures, if it isnt assimilated, the parts wont show up ingame.
