hi, ive managed to create a model and texture it, and ive put it in game and it moves and all that, and the file size is about right (70-100kb) then when i add in the joints and the hardpoints it makes it 3kb and when i put it ingame it is blank?!?!? Im confused, any suggestions?

Maybe you forgot about the h_scene_root joint. Or some joint connection is wrong.

Try exporting the ship again, I've had this problem before and this usually fixes it.

If that fails use the hardpoint cheat method. It involves importing a stock model, saving it's hardpoit map as a single file (delete the textures and mesh parts) and merge it onto the new model and rename and move the joints as needed.
thanks Majest, that was one of the things that i tried last nite do i have to make sure that my model is 2 mesh groups only, cos the model im making atm is 3 pieces?

no limit on mesh groups as far as I know.
yeah, i managed to fix that problem.....got 2 new ships for Stargate: Evolution made :D:D:D
