Anyone know what the story is with the omega partical(momega) and the borg's Omega Containment(bomega) in the odf folder. I tried adding the omega partical to a map and it crashes the program and the Omega Containment seems to have no use either. Could anyone tell me how to get the partical to work and what the porpose of each is?

they are part of the single player missions, not sure if they are used in A2, probably just remnants from A1.

just an SOD and a 3 Shockwave? simple, the A2 Flag uses the same SOD, just use that one and make new odf and use Omega Shockwave. Armada 1 was based around the Omega, play through the missions of A1 if you have it, its all Explained there :D

Ok thanks for the info. I do not have A1. I modified its race to "norace" to put it on a map and it seems to do nothing at all. I am not very familar with modding but i was wondering if they could be used for something like if you capture one it gives you +5/sec on every resource. Are they supposed to move around or do anything in perticular?

You know, that's something I've never really considered. Metal mining rates depend on the amount of metal the planet has. Then, this is sorted to how much you get on a cycle, but if you increase a planet's size.....hmmmm, if i'm correct, and, with some advanced mathematic equations, it may be possible to do that, I mean the upgrade pods increase stats, I don't see why a random object can't?
