There is a set of plugins for importing/exporting to SOD format, but there is one drawback. The importer will only allow you to import the stock models. In other words you won't be able to import models made by other people except those that shipped with the game. The reason for this is because it helps to prevent mesh theft.

Ermm! :uhm:

Armada2files does NOT have the sod importer, only the source code for the importer (which needs to be compiled before it can be used)!

If you want to compile the importer (ie: make it useable) read through its files before compiling ;)

The bundle that contains the sod exporter (and the source code for the importer) is at the following address:

http://armada2.filefront.com/file/Milkshape_SOD_importerexporter;18853x#214955

Umm! That link takes you to the site containing the SAME sod exporter bundle as mentioned before, which does not contain a usable sod importer only the source code for the importer!

Major A Payneso whats the file named: msSODimporter.dll ??

:banghead: :bawl: Please forgive me! When I saw that the name of the file on that site was almost exactly the same name as the file I had on my hard drive (which I thought did not have the importer..etc). I assumed it was the same.

Ooops!... :(

Note: If anyone wants to compile the source code into a version that has no restrictions... be carefull, the original programer(s) won't like it if you remove the list!

Note 2: I am not taking sizes in the "freedom V restriction" row about the importer!
