Hey, I have been trying to be able to build the fbaseHQ but i am not having any luck. After playing around with the tech tree i ened up not being able to build any more construction ships and no where closer to being able to build the HQ. I wanted to add the repair beam to the construction ship but i can not do that either. any ideas where i am going wrong?

Yo dude, want a bit of advice!;) forget about the fbaseHQ go to armada2files and download the spacedock (ull know wot it looks like) same as the fbaseHQ then jus change the files to fbaseHQ! and use that one! looks a hell of a lot better! :cool:

You need to edit: tech1.tt, fulltech.tt from the tech file and guiglobal in the sprites file in order to add the fbaseHQ (new or old) new being the one you download and old being the default one ofn the game! hope this helps!

youll also have to edit the construction ship but it can only have one more station to its build list so if you aleady added one you cant have both.

Adding repair beam to construction ship is not going to work since it's a conflict with class labels.

yes it would have a problem ive tried before only repair ships can use repair beam but you could add the nebulas repair team.

Wow thanks for all the great help. Do u have to edit each of the tt1, earlytech, and each of those or can you just do one?

So the max number of stations the construction ship can build is 14 then? Where are the images for those located. I managed to have the construction ship build the HQ but you don't see an image for it...u just have to trust it's there :confused:
