I can't save my Instant Action games! Any suggestions?

And is there a way to get the same quality for the graphics (if I have the models, natch) on my regular ol' Armada II? Everything is grainy and stretched on the regular game, whereas in FO it's...

...breathtaking comes to mind.

I miss some elements of A2, but I would never attempt to fiddle with FO. Near perfect. Definitely the best I've ever seen.

Saves have been taken out because of problems with the mod you cant put it back unless you know some serious programing (I dont), maybe they will restore it in a future version.

The models will look bad in the regular A2 because the engine of fleet ops uses a 3 layer depth for the models where the normal A2 uses 1, so it cant show the models the right way.

I'm pining away for the next version. So far, with a modified game board, I've been able to keep an Instant Action game going for about 8 minutes tops before it crashes. I can't tell if it's something I research or something an enemy does, but whatever it is, the game shuts down in an awful hurry.
