KevinJ87probly wants it like an upgrade/refit kinda thing[/quote] yes exactly this getting it working on one wud lead to my mod idea ive used the fusion technic on a intrepid and made it an armoured intrepid and on a soverign to make it the enterpise (wen fused witha picard pod) - all this easy... but when i try fusing a station it dissapears... ill try the 8472 way but the problem is they start out as a moving ship not a station (sorry i forgot that i hadnt told ppl about my work in fusing/upgrade/amouring stuff :smokin: )
Slider 17Yeah, you may still need to "trick" the game though into thinking it's a ship, like with ship = 1 and is_starbase = 0 ??? maybe that will work??
tryed it i tryed copying the settings from a 8472 mothership but it doesnt change the problem that fyard and fyard 2 do not move (think this is my problem) [quote=Greathor]8472 evolve is going to be your best bet i think.

just checked out the evolve thing and u cnt mod it.... its like another build menu u aint it the line that changes a ship/station from build to evolve is: // For context sensitive menus evolve = 1 and all this does is changes the build menu :bawl: and tell it to use animation when 'building' think about it in game its just like a construction ship with different animations.... thx for the suggestion tho any other ideas?:confused:

is there a way u can make like a super fusin cube ie 8 Fusin cubes combinding to a bigger cube ?

Yes. You can fuse any amount of any ship (and any amount of any other ship, if you fuse more than one class), into one of any ship. You can fuse 1 Vor'Cha and 3 Birds of Prey into a Negh'Var. Pointless, but i'm pointing out that it's just always possible.

As for fusing from one ship to another, that's easy. It goes "BANG" when you do it, still, but that sfx can be taken off. (See the Centauri Primus in B5A2) Problem is, like you said, doesn't work on shipyards cos it just vanishes. I'm trying to work on something similar for MoR, so i'll let you know if i find anything.

The problem is the ship or station needs to move for fusion to take place. I think you can make it moveable but for the player to be unable to move it normally only when the weapon forces it to move. The problem would be it would not have a footprint and I think weapons like the repulsar wave (or whatever it is called) maybe able to effect it.

You could do it with the 8472 evolve command, however this will not work with shipyards as it would not build ships but evolve into them!
