hey all im making a new mod and am almost ready to release the beta which will alter alot of the code but since im crap att modelling has no new models here are the changes that will be released in the beta version: -no warp -ships travel slowly -all ships have tractor beams -all ships have speacial impulse engines that consume power but speed up ships -all weapons cost 1 power unit each time they fire -power does not recharge, special ships are used to repower vessels ecept for 8472 -shipyards now recharge all ships in their vicinity -all borg ,fed and cardie ships have multitarget capability and stronger shields; weapons are weaker -all klingon, romulan, and 8472 have stronger weapons and sheilds, but can only target 1 ship at a time -some special weapons are activated automatically -removed the corbomine reflector, and the romulan shield draining thing if any1 knows how to make a tractor beam work regardless of the engine's status plz tell me also any help with models would be apretiated this is what i need models wanted(in 3ds or ms3d) format with hardpoints fighters for any race shuttles for any race runabouts for any race models wanted in .SOD format (with hardpoint map) replacements for all ships & stations in game norway class excalibur class excelsior refit cant remember the name but the big ship cardie ship that is seen in the begining of the dominion wars game thx fo reading this and remember i will credit every person for their contribution

Well although I can't help directly I can provide some things indirectly:

- Norway class is in my BI2 project. Its Deemons so its of high quality. I dont' currently have time to extract the model from my project but if you've got my project floating around somewhere then its in there. Just remember to change the weapon names in the main ODF. - I haven't converted it yet and it may be a little high poly, but I do have a good quality Excalibur class (poly count is actually around 2.5k so it depends on the amount likely to be built). If you can find someone to convert it then I dont' mind letting you use it. Let me know on this one. - The big cardie one you mentioned is likely to be the "Hutet" class. Again this is another thats appeared in my BI2 project but I believe there is also a single minimod download either here or on www.armadafleetcommand.com

That mod sounds really good sorry but ive nothing u need but i will definatly be downloading it. MAP are u going to relese your excaliber class or will it be in an upcoming mod of yours?

Current status of the excalibur is in the unconverted state only. I've got a few other models to take care of first.

ok well ive gtg to LA for two weeks and since i havent finnished my beta yet im submiting a pre-release of the beta so far here are no spec energy rechargers, but those are easy to add and i havent goten around to the borg and cardie multi targeting ive also changed afew things, the borg & 8472 do not have impulse engines and also have unlimited power supplies, all borg ships take 1.5 times longer to construct and have i.5 times their original shields. 8472 has half their original shield strength

plz post comments if u want this changed

for some reason i cant edit my posts... but that was supposed to say the file was ready to be released, also it was released...5 hours ago... it just hasen't been posted......sigh...... and hey its good to see that more than 1 person has posted sumthing here...lol

Hey, did't you say that you were going to something out of the starship createor, where you would use galaxy seperation or something like that? Yeah, from the "A few ideas from Armada III" thread way back when? Well i'm glad to see that you have posted a mod, and it looks good.

ya about that... i couldnt get the computer to fuse he ships properly, and the amount of files needed would have been too big to put anywere on the internet, although i still plan to use some new fusions to increase ship abilities, although it will only be available for players, the pc might be too dumb
