i am trying to install a ship and i do all right until it asks me to open the odf file and change some crap. what do you open it with?confusedx.gif

Or you could try downloading the odf Editor (version 2), from this site, /Armada2 Downloads/utilities/Modding Tools/ODF EditorV2. It allows you to open odfs, edit them and write new files and save them AS odfs, to the best of my knowlege, wordpad, notepad and microsoft word wont save text files as odfs, only the editor will. The editor also contains a template ship odf, all the code lines are already there, you just have to fill in the blanks, name of the race the ship belongs to, class of the ship, resource costs, ship names, etc, etc. hope this helps.
