Really stupid thing to ask (coming from me thats not a surprise) I want to try make my own ships, I've not got a clue how to do it, I don't know what programs i will need or how to use them or even where to find them. Could someone let me know how to do this and where to get them from, I would also like to try coverting ships to work on armada 2, again not a clue. Could any one help me out a little?? lol :deal:

Alright, go to chUmbaLum sOft (that's a link) and go to the downloads section. Download Milkshape3D and the Assimilation Software plugin. The first is the modeling program, and the second is the plugin that enables you to import and export Armada .sod, SFC .mod, and BC .nif files. Now, go back to A2Files and download and read carefully the following: Milk Shape Tutorial, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Tutorials Milkshape 3D SOD Tutorial, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Tutorials Texture Tutorial by Wrath of Achilles, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Tutorials Westworld's Big Book Of Modding, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Tutorials

If you want to do more advanced stuff, download the following: Build Button, Wireframe and Admirals Pic Tutorial, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Tutorials TTL3DBT&JRT, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 Tutorials

That should be it.

I don't think a better answer is possible. CB has covered everything so once you have done all that, I will look forward to downloading your new models Seve. Also, if you need advice on ODF's, drop me a line. We (Modders) Are One.

If you want some help, remember to ask on this forum. Everyone here is terrific. They helped me alot as I was starting, and, certainly, I will be happy to help as well. Good luck with your modding.

I think you just unzip the files and add them to the milkshape folder.
