Okay this is just weird, I readded it with the downloaded one still on the build list and it showed them both...that is just weird. Anyway how can I then modify the Klingon startup so it has one Klingon Construction Ship and one Federation Construction Ship and maybe replace the Klingon Base with the Unity Base off filefront?

This shouldn't be a problem, some simple odf editing. Go to: odf -> other and open the file: kling.odf You should see something like this inside the file:

// the things you get when you ask for standard default units (instead of the map units) standardUnits1 = "kconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits2 = "kconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits3 = "kbase.odf" // starbase

You can either add another unit, say for example fconst...

// the things you get when you ask for standard default units (instead of the map units) standardUnits1 = "kconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits2 = "kconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits3 = "kbase.odf" // starbase standardUnits4 = "fconst.odf" // Federation Construction Ship

or simply replace one of them

// the things you get when you ask for standard default units (instead of the map units) standardUnits1 = "fconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits2 = "kconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits3 = "kbase.odf" // starbase

Hope this helps. Theres some other lines there about minimal and super units but you can pretty much ignore them if you play the game under normal settings.

Would this also apply to the Single Player mode as well or just Instant Action as I know the Single Player tends to have two construction ships as well.

I know it applies to instant action, although I don't think this is the case for single player mode. This is something that I believe could only be done by editing the maps. Although to be houenst i'm not really sure, perhaps someone with more experience with the subject matter could chime in?

oh boy am I talking chinese? I asked him to show the odf to have a solid guess on what the problem is. instead we get a wild chase of the problem by everyone as usual. and now it says "never matter" and the next problem is brought up. there is a more structured way to get solutions, you know?

Your best bet is to LISTEN to people trying to help =p Posting the odf and TT files would have helped big time. Not being preachy just sayin...BTW i re-released a ODF tool that allows the program to check the TT and ODF's helps with mispelled and missing commands as well as ones that are just wrong (shameless self promotion :D)

As for the C.S in single player you need to replace the ships in the map editor simple as that.

I know what was being said, and I went to do it but decided to check it one last time and it ended up being fine. That wasn't my fault. x.x
