Ahhh. I have the perfect program for you. It's called Switchsound it's free. The link is http://www.nch.com.au/switch/ It has alot of useful features and it's easy to use. It can convert just about any sound file to another one.

It depends on what it is. Although I believe it doesn't matter which subdirectory of the "sounds" folder in your armada 2 directory, I like to keep it categorized. I.E. , if it is a music file; put it in the "sounds/music" directory , a voice file goes in the "sounds/voiceover" dir. , and effects or anything else in the "sounds/effects" directory.

And if you are just converting them for personal use, just make a folder on your desktop.

The file for the single player borg music is in the sounds/music folder. Its either mbormp300, or mbor300. (Its probably mbormp300) Make a backup of the files then replace them with the one that you want, make sure that the new file has the same name as the old one.

While we're at it, does anyone know where the main menu music is? Its not with the rest.

For ghosts complilation mod which I have installed its in the sounds/effects folder. The file is Shellsd0, once again this is only for ghost's comp. mod.

E:\A2Parallels\Sounds\Effects\Shellsd0.WAV

Thats for Armada 2, should be the same for Armada 1, I don't touch that game much anymore due to being so outdated compared to A2 which itself is really outdated.

E:\A2Parallels is your Armada 2 directory.
